Caller wanted me to give information about myself in order to release priority information. I told them I could not do that and they asked me to verify what they have. I told them no. They told me of the urgency of the call and it was against state and federal law to not verify the person they were talking to. Also, they asked me to call back when I was ready to give the desired information. I assumed it was a scam.

They've called twice now, the first time I answered there was silence for half a minute like they didn't expect me to actually pick up. It was someone calling for my mother, but they didn't say who they were. Tried giving me a different number for her to call back to, so I hung up. My phone number hasn't been registered under her for years, and they mispronounced her name to a slightly different one, so I'm guessing their info is outdated too. I'll see if they have a do not call list if they call again.
Same as what others have said, they don't tell you what they're calling about, they want you to verify information. I refused to verify and informed them that my number is on the Do Not Call list, then hung up.
Caller ID shows Damian Rasmusse. Did not leave a message. I don't have any outstanding debt for a debt collector to call. Marking this as Scam. Number is now blocked.
