I have received a barrage of calls from this number. I followed the procedure, asked "Michael" to remove my number. He became more aggressive, and I hung up. 5 minutes later, he called back and told me he was going to write my number on every bathroom wall he goes into, then called me a b**ch and a c**t. Horrible.
I am on the do not call list. Normally I don't pick up. I did pick up the phone this time since the call was local. I pressed 1 which was the only option. I advised them truthfully that the senior whom they were trying to reach was long dead and to please remove us from their list. The representative was cooperative and said he would do that and that it would take up to 24 hours. I feel pretty good about it on the whole as most telemarketers are not as cooperative or reasonable.
