The caller claimed to be from my Electric Company (BG&E) and talked about my rates going up. She went on to say that I could get a reduced rate. I found that this call was suspicious so I told her that it sounded like a trick and said not to call me please. I had heard voices from the background...i.e. telemarketer's. I don't fall for that crap. Beware of scams!
This number came up on my caller ID and the call went to the answering machine. I appear to have inadvertently been a third party in a telemarketing call. It was actually a bit amusing, because the target of the call was a woman who barely spoke English.

We got this scam call today. Caller saying she was from BG&E. Was very aggressive. Told her I don't give info over the phone and she signed off hurriedly, sounded peeved. Checked Google, found out this number is a scam.
