Scam call. Second attempt.....federal magistrate..... Same as April, above, posted on 8-24-16.
Not wasting my time but will try to report them to someone who can try to catch them.
This number calls repeatedly, with an electronic message claiming to be the IRS, claiming they are taking you to court and you must call them back immediately to avoid prosecution.
When you call them back, a person answers the phone with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent. Sounds like a boiler room, lots of background noise. When you ask what company he is calling from, he says it isnt a company, he is calling from the Criminal Division. I told him he was full of [***]. He told me I was full of [***]. I told him I'd reported them to the IRS and he said "[***] you" and hung up on me.
They just called 15 minutes ago. Caller ID only said "Unknown Name." My Call Blocker requires them to identify themselves and to call back. They didn't. I will block this number.
Same story as everyone else, apparently I've committed a felony/federal offense and this is their second attempt to contact me to get me before a "federal magistrate", even said that I needed to call that number back immediately and speak with a "federal agent" to avoid prosecution or some bulls**t. I was ready to call back and give them a piece of my mind but when I tried to call back from my cell and not my home number that they had just called it would only ring twice and then make a weird noise and then hang up. I don't understand how or why these jacka***s are able to continue doing this crap for this long with the same phone number, can't they cut the number off and trace it or something?? Maybe not.
