yeah; this idiot likes to call my business as well, stating that I HAVE to call him back!!! Nope, I do not. The only people that I HAVE to call back are my Mother, the tax morons (for wonderful country so that Trump can get even fatter now), and any direct debts that I have created such as medical expenses, credit card accounts, utility bills, etc. Anyone else, and you are out of luck, because you are unimportant to me, as I only deal with those that I have directly inquired about; such as I request their information or service from them. I do not answer calls from those that solicit this way, as it is sleazy and I do not do sleazy... I know that is very un-american, but hey what can I say, I like to buck the system.
If you call me, you get blocked, if I need you or your services, then I will look for you when I need it or typically I will lock-in those services before the actual need arises so that I am not screwed by unscrupulous trash trying to scam someone that are in a bind. Such as locksmiths, household repairs (those that I cannot perform myself like plumbing or major electric), veterinarian that I am comfortable with before I have a particular pet, etc. It is called being a responsible adult, you have not just one but perhaps two (you know americans love their vacations and it is always hard to actually get someone to work when you really need it, so it is best to have backup providers to that you can call the shots instead of having to put all of your eggs in one person's basket). Remember, unless an actual gun is against your head... it IS your decision for regarding everything in life, so if things do not go well, blame yourself, not others because you almost always have the ability to actually so NO!
Back to this telephone call; personally, I would never accept anyone that uses pressure tactics to sell or get me to do something. This goes for sales calls, magazine subscriptions, charitable donations, etc; first of all, I decide what I purchase not anyone one else and for donations I do not donate over the telephone simply because I cannot trust where the funds are going and whom (or if) anyone will actually benefit from them, I donate to PETA and LGBT based groups because that is what I care about, not religious based groups that want to discriminate against the very community that I am part of, etc. So why should I donate to any person or organization that calls my home or business demanding money that are actually against these very basic values for myself or my community and for animal welfare that I will not budge on.
It is up to you to decide whether or not to pickup each & every time the telephone rings, and each time that you give people like this a second of your time... you are actually re-enforcing their drive and ability to bully the next person on their spam & scam list. So please think a moment before answering the next time, and if you're confronted with trash like this that only want to push & bully you and your family into something that you are just not comfortable with or flat-out not interested in, say hell no and tell them to hit the road running and to find decent employment where they won't have to scam and harass others with their constant barrage of telephone calls that interrupt their day and invade their lives when they do not need to; like I have said before, if I need your service then I will seek you out, no need for you to harass me. As long as a company lists themselves on search engines, yellow pages, websites, etc; then when the time comes I will be able to find you when I want to, again no need for you to bully me and call all hours of the day & night pressuring me to purchase something. I'll let you know when I am good & ready, otherwise piss-off...
