received a call from this number today.  Did not answer and left no message.

I answered. It was a recording. Something for a police fundraiser or something. I hung up as soon as I realized.

I received a call from this phone number today. When I answered, a man said that he was calling from the fraternal order of police and asked if I would make a pledge and then transferred me to another person. When I ask that person to hold a minute while I just searched their phone number just to make sure everything was legit, she hung up on me.

Caller claimed to collecting donations for fraternal order of police.    I asked for non profit tax id, and they did not have one.    Scam.

SCAM/FRAUD Calling people claiming to be with the Fraternal Order of Police. SCAM/FRAUD. This group collects money claiming it goes to the Fraternal Order of Police which is a lie. SCAM/FRAUD. I checked with police departments and they advised to tell everyone to not give them any money. SCAM/FRAUD.
