I called the number back. It was "Steve" from the Fraternal Order of Police.. and thanks for calling back. I interrupted him mid spiel and said no thank you.. scammers.. and hung up. So.. they have found yet another number to call from.
Not really a Non profit.. seeing as they take the majority of the funds for themselves.. the callers...
They're back... Just another number acquired or spoofed by "Annapolis MD". So, the scammers have another nuisance number to block. Big deal, they always find a way to try another cheat us and it is disturbing to realize that they are probably cheating seniors out of funds they can't afford for no other reason than to to enrich themselves.
Never a message - just a cheat waiting for a sucker. New number, same scum.
