There have been multiple calls from this numbers to individuals in Georgia as well.
The DEA may actually have a reason to call someone on the phone but they always provide you a way to verify their identity. (usually calling an office number that is listed in a phone book).
This is some sort of scam. If you get a call from this number notify your local Drug Enforcement Administration Office.
I had the pleasure of their phone call yesterday and today. These [***] try to convince you that there is federal warrants written for you for ordering medication from another country without a prescription. They tell you that they don't want to ruin your life and for a "Fine" they can drop the federal arrest and search warrants. This is a total scam, they are just tring to see how much money they can get from you.
No Federal official would take money via Western Union to vacate federal arrest and search warrents. They would just execute them. Do not let these people con you. Do not send them any money. They are con artists!!!
The caller said he was going to arrest me for on line pharm violation. Like the DEA is going to call you first so you can be waiting with a shotgun aaahhhhhhahahahahaa. Just hang up on the fools and they will go away.
