DEA agents trying to scare people into sending money. Please call the FBI and DEA, they will confirm this scam. I just hope to God no one gets so scared that they fall for it. I get a call from the DEA every couple months, the "special" agents told me I violated Ryans act....I report it to the DEA, they have a very responsive team that always reassures me about the calls. These people should burn in hell.
This was the DEA scam. The call was very convincing and very terrifying even though every part of me knew better. After they have you on the ropes, they offer you a way out via another call from another person. Apparently, if you have ever purchased or even visited an online prescription website, they have gotten access to your phone number and have tracked down your current address. These slimeballs will tell you that there has been a warrant issued for your address in ______________(your hometown) and that you will be spending 3-7 years in prison for illegally buying drugs from overseas. Of course, if you think this through, no law enforcement agency would warn you of your arrest OR offer you the opportunity to bribe them over the phone. Again, they are very convincing and may have the dates and years that you purchased drugs online in the past. Just hang up.
received message from james cochran from fda but already saw tv show on nightline explaining details of this scam and called 1877 792 2873 number the real fda to report scam.I am certain they will eventually have these criminals in custody where they belong but in meantime please call 1877 7922873 to help real fda find and arrest these criminals as has to stop.on nightline broke my heart to see widower of lady who committed suicide after receiving multiple threats from these monsters.
I just got the same phone call from the "DEA" that their was a "subpoena for my arrest". First of all, a subpoena is usually to appear or produce, Secondly, when does the DEA call and let you know first you are going to be arrested? I knew this was a scam immediately because I have done nothing at 54 years old to be arrested for. I hung up and they called back and said that the arresting officer would be there in about 15 -20 minutes. I told him if they were not here by then, I will call and let him know. Needless to say, they never showed up and I called him back. He said they were on their way again... nothing. I called him back after reading up about this number and it makes me so mad that some people actually believe this jerk and send money, especially the older woman (older than me) that was featured on Nightline. For a change, I turned the tables and very much enjoyed advising him what a worthless person her was and he began a screaming match that lasted about 5 minutes. He actually had to hang up on me. I will be calling them again. I hate scammers, liars and thieves. From the language he used, i.e., telling me where I can stick something and much more, I am sure it was not the DEA. So, Please everyone beware and do not send any money and report the phone call.
