was those asshats from "credit card services", so pressed 1 to talk to rep, listened to their insipid muzak, asked the rep in a panicky voice why they were cancelling my credit cards which he replied multiple times to my multiple "cancel" questions that they weren't.  he eventually hung up.  added to my growing blocked numbers list.  did get some overdue kitchen cleaning done while dicking with them, so one of us wasn't wasting time...
