I think I got the exact same message today, here in Calgary.
"The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Officer James Morrison and hotline to my division is #### yada yada yada. Don't try to disregard this message and don't return the call and if I don't hear from your attorney either, then all the thing I can do is I wish you good luck as the situation badly unfolds on you, so give me a call back as soon as you get this message. Thank you."
My favourite part was the "badly unfolds on you." Nice writing. ;)
Left message, knew it was a scam cause it was a recording and the opening part was cut off.
Similar to other reported numbers with similar details, message was that "it's extremely time sensitive, it's Office James Morrison and if they don't hear back from you or your attorney...blah blah blah."
Same as everyone else. Was very threatening. I called the OPP and reported the call. They called and left a message twice. I tried calling back because I wanted to give them a piece of my mind. First time number was not valid, second time I called line was busy. I'm done with this crap. If they call again I'm going to work with a real officer and cause them some grief.
