May 2nd--This phone number called to tell me my polling station for the Election had changed. The information was untrue! Check with your local Elections Canada office!
May 2nd, around 10:00am, I too received a call from this number, 'advising' me that my polling station had changed. The supposed new location is probably one of the most inaccessible locations in my city. Clearly designed to dissuade people from voting.
Just got a recorded message telling me my poll had been changed to Quebec Street mall. The call stated it was from Elections Canada and the message was repeated in French. The contact number given was not in service. Dialling the number the call had come from led to a full message box, the message telling me that had a cheery southern US accent.
