Caller uses 458-201-0235 and 0241 to call me. Once on Nov. 27, 2012, then twice within one minute on Mar. 12, 2013. The first used "ServiceFCall" the second two used "Marketing Fraud"
I HAVE RECEIVED 39 TOTAL ROBO CALLS SINCE JAN 1 They must really think I am stupid and will answer. I use my good ole Panosonic phone to block these numbers--up to 30. I only widh I could block more!!!!!!!
So they have a Vivian that answers the phone at CallerID4U and it's definitely a chop shop operation. Takes eight rings for them to answer as if it is screening calls or something. They sell loads of phone numbers to illegal telemarketers and then act like nothing is going on. Keep on directing your complaints against this company and that'll kill all the rest of these idiots using these numbers illegally from the 458 area code.
Tried to get Paul on the phone but ended up leaving him a fun message. Call 310-251-5420 and tell them how you really feel. Then file the appropriate complaints to your state attorney general and the FTC.
This number originates out of Oregon, specifically North East of Medford. I did not answer. They left a voice mail on my cell. My phone has the capability to delete a message, both voice and text without answering voice or opening the text. I recommend doing the same if the call comes into your cell because, after reading about the history of this number, it dates back to 2005 though it is random in the amount of times. One site noted 16 calls had been reported from this number indicating a title "ServiceCall", just as written. I searched it on several who is calling type sites. The site indicated FBI scamming, rude and vulgar statements and a host of other issues and home security for break-ins. After doing a search on the number for reverse numbers it comes up with nothing. Searching a cell number, nothing. Using Google I searched just as typed, ServiceCall, and the only thing that stood out with that exact spelling was an ad for a "capture" service for mobile data collections. Here's the oddity of this one. I had just gotten off my cell with an internet provider service and that call came in 2 mins. after. The Rep of course, was an outsourced contact to a foreign country. This happened last month as well, but a different number was shown. I just didn't delve into it like I had this one. Beware Consumers.
Thank you for such a detailed report! I'm going to follow through with reporting the violation. Considering that this has happened to me twice after calling my internet provider service and, I am in Seattle, I find it ironic that CallerID4U Inc. is located here. Though for certain, my calls through this internet service was an outsourced call center. The actual company is here in Seattle, and a well known internet provider. And, that the "capture" information I provided is for mobile data collection devices, the spelling in their ad is the same as ServiceCall. I want to caution here on that issue, I am not suggesting that service is committing the violations, but, the "capture mobile data collection" is a product to purchase for use and, it can be used in field jobs to send agents to your location when you call for a service of some type at your home.
