Called at 12:44pm on 9/4/13. Caller ID showed the phone number in the "name" section. Was the exact same recorded female voice I've heard for years. I'm on the DNC. Went as follows:
"…reports there is a home break in every fifteen seconds. Your local police recommend you protect your home. If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard,we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever. To hear more, press '1' now. To be placed on our 'do not call' list, press '9.' "
I'd file complaint with the FTC, but I've filed so many times before about this exact same call, it seems pointless.
