guys, these calls are from robo call spammers. i get them daily. new number every day. same story every time i look them up on this website and others. these are not legitimate businesses. DNC does not "stop" anything automatically. legitimate businesses get updates to the registry and comply to avoid legal hassles. spammers and robodialers are criminals and do not have the DNC registry nor care about it. if the call is a hangup, they are just checking your number is legitimate to sell to scammers. the only way to slow it down is to avoid answering any call that you do not recognize the number. even then, somehow you will get into a rotation again, as i have now, and get the daily calls again. the only thing i wonder is how my office phone has never ended up in the rotation...
robocall spam again today from same number. this makes two from this number. i just don't answer calls from numbers i don't know. it will stop for a while eventually. still seems like they only call cell phones, wonder how they do that.
