Got a call from this number, saying that I needed to update my Google listing.

Received a call to my Google Voice number that I use for advertising. No msg left.

Probably a robo-call, data-mining, spam, etc.

Robo caller working for a debt collector. They claim to be a Google Service Provider but in reality work for a fake company that is using a spoofed telephone number. Once they find out who you are, they cleverly try to get a phony debt associated/assigned to you. Spam at its worst!  NEVER CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK. Once you do they have your caller ID!
