"Pre-record" to business line. It's a voice response system, kind of like talking to Siri. As mentioned, it's for addiction. I've seen these before, but it's been a while since I've gotten one of them. I didn't get very far, since I questioned if it was a person ("I'm being Professional" said the robot...), and it hung up on me. Presumably putting me on their DNC list. Should have been nicer and tried to get to a real person to get more information.
Previous "addiction" telemarketing calls I've received where almost impossible to get anything out of them. Nearly any question besides direct answers to their qualifying questions would result in them hanging up on you. When I did play along, they invariably ask if you are on a private or government plan (hang up on government plan), and they want to know who you are covered by. This is very likely a medical insurance fraud type arrangement.
Just got a call from what sounded to be a human being. When asked how I got on this referral list, I was immediately told that they will take me off of their list. When I asked when I was supposedly referred, I heard the same mantra of taking me off of their list.
This is a sales call from a rehab company for alcohol and/or drugs. They are soliciting referrals by shocking you into thinking that you've been nominated for this list.
Get a clue guys... I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. Stop calling me.
telemarketer? they are a service about alcohol and substance abuse for you or a loved one. I said there wasn't any help needed here. She replied; It will only take a minute, OK? I said she had the wrong number and hung up. wasn't sure if was an automated voice or real person.
458 are code is Oregon. I'm in CA.
Telemarketing for addiction treatment? A new low for the scum sucking, bottom feeding, telemarketing industry. I asked some [***] [***] three times for the name of the company she is representing, with no success. Oh yeah let me just start giving you confidential information over the phone to some anonymous [***]. If I could find all these [***], I would club them over the head with something spike covered and rusty, push them into a mass grave, cover them in diesel fuel, and watch them writhe and burn to death slowly.

Received a call this morning, pressed 1 to be put on do not call list. It was a computer recording of a person speaking. It said would take name off but would take 72 hours to do it. Just received another call. And it just kept saying that if I would like to be put on their do not recall list to press 1, Now. I finally hung up. You are not given an option of talking to anyone, just press 1 to be removed from their list. I am already on the State and the Federal Do Not Call lists, why are they calling anyway. And you cannot report them because you cannot talk to them.
