Received a call with only three rings. Said "Srvc Call" on the ID with the above number, then a female voice left a fraction of a word before hanging up. My gut says it's a telemarketer/scammer--just about time for them anyway.
Number showed up on cell phone. Didn't answer. They left no message. I guess it really is true that you shouldn't even bother to answer the phone these days unless you know who's calling ;).
Another CallerID4U landline scammer called our DNC registered landline on10/16/2014 @ 04:07 PM from Eugene, OR. No message was left. All CallerID4U landline callers are scammers who share in a revenue sharing program with CallerID4U telco.
I *67'ed the number. No company name, but there's a longwinded set of instructions for opting out within 72 hrs.
I have Blacklisted this number. If this number calls again it will be registered to Caller ID history, but the phone will never ring. Lol.
Computer generated call said they were looking for "Sophie" about a brochure they had recently sent me regarding pain--about that time a "live" woman said "are you there?" to which I had heard enough--hung up and blocked the caller.
