Cell phones are great for these robo calls. I don't answer, look up the number and see the history about the call, then block the caller on my cell. At least they won't call back on that number.
Security system sales second call today I already told them I did not want one they must really want to sell one I am still not interested I told the first guy to put me on the do not call list I didn't answer this time called back and pressed 8 I am now supposedly on the do not call list
Automated woman named Carol called - probably trying to sell something. The robot just kept repeating "are you there" since I wouldn't answer her back then she/it hung up
NO! If you press anything to be "put on the do not call list", you are telling them that they have reached a live number, and your calls may increase exponentially!
