Robocall starting "Senior Citizens ...", Even though we're on useless "do not call" list, and have blocked this sort of call before, they keep calling, Curse 'em!
Another scam call. I just keep a whistle next to the phone, but I wish I could think up something for robo-calls that would make THEM hang up on me for a change.
I answered the call and nobody responded. It disconnected. I called the number back, and a recording gave the option to be removed from their call list by pushing the number 1. I did that. Hopefully they will not call anymore.
Call received about 9:50 am. In exchange for $3,000 worth of coupons, I could buy a "free" Medical Alert for $400+ dollars. When I asked for details from their website, the woman calling (of slight Oriental dialect, name sounded like “Noon”) told me to wait two minutes. I told her I had the computer running in front of me and could look up the product as we talked. She hung up.
In searching other complaints, I found that one call recipient claimed this scammer, using the same phone number, also attempted to sell catheter supplies.
