Major Annoying
Yet another call from these jerks, but using a different phone number.  I'm not on Medicare, but if I ever needed help, I certainly wouldn't try to get it from these bums.  They must be about as reputable as the lawyers who advertise on TV, "You could be entitled to a large cash settlement."  Sure.  They probably graduated from the newly-renamed [***] Law School, if they even graduated at all.

Major Annoying
Called again at 308 PM, just 3 days after their previous call.  If I didn't answer last time, common sense should tell them that I won't answer this time either.  Anyone who needs Medicare help can call their senators/congesssmen, and get real help for free.  Okay, it's not really free -- your tax dollars are paying for it, just like free medical care and free college tuition.

Repulsed Too
I really doubt any kind of political party involvement in this call making scheme. Two reports before mr/ms repulsive showed up echoed my experience; that this is an outfit looking to sign people up for Medicare. Had nothing to do with politics or political parties or candidates.

Initiated as a robocall, the option was given to press one to talk to an agent. In order to find out exactly the source of this illegal call, I pressed one, just as she was saying: "If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare, or if you would like to be removed from this...."  Then, I was informed the call was being transferred "with no wait time." The hold music I heard seemed like "wait time" to me. Chuck came on the line and immediately asked if I am new to Medicare, or if I've been on it for a few years.

When I asked what company he was with, he said he's a broker and handles a lot of companies. Right. As if a brokerage is not a company. When I mentioned how hard the boiler room in the background made it to hear him, he informed me, “It's just me talking right now.” as if that would make it easier to hear. When I repeated the question about the company he was with, he accused me of being "confrontational," and repeated the "broker" claim. When I pressed him a third time, asking what company was involved in the boiler room surrounding him, he hung up.

So, there's no telling if this is a quasi-legitimate company using illegal lead generation means or if it is a phishing scam, hoping to get people to divulge their Medicare or Social Security Number or other personal information.

If this were a legitimate company, they would have this number listed on their Web site, Yelp, or wherever else regular business numbers are ordinarily found. My search did not produce any evidence of this kind of legitimacy; it only produced scam reporting sites like this, and the usual info selling sites which, of course, have no actual information about companies like this one.
