I have been slammed by calls from this number, but have not answered one of them. No messages were left, so it must not have been too important. Most of the time, as a rule, I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and especially Restricted or Unknown calls.
They are trying to sell auto insurance. Have called me 2x in 6 says. First time I told them not to call. Today I told them again. If I get another call, I am going to tell them I'm a cop....or lawyer.....or work for the fcc!
Called my phone offering insurance quote and asked me to provide information that could easily be used to steal identities. I refused to provide the information until they provided information on their company. They refused to provide a name, address, website, or phone number for the company. When I informed them that this was a violation of FTC and illegal they got very squirrelly and terminated the telephone call.
I get continuous calls from this person at least five a week. Every time I answer they say that they aren't trying to sell me anything and they just need to verify my vehicle and such. No amount of telling them to take me off their list has seemed to work.
