A call came in from this number on my personal cell phone on July 14, 2016 at 1:05 PM while I was at work. It was the lovely Officer Sam Wilson, Internal Revenue Member 12068. He, of course had a delicious, Indian accent. He asked my name and I gave him a fake one. He asked my address and I gave him a fake one. He was able to pull up my file right away. What a guy! He told me that I had not paid enough taxes between 2008 and 2013. Funny how the amount kept changing from 2000 to 2400 and back again. He told me I would be arrested and I would lose my house, car, bank account, etc. and go to jail for 5 years but then it changed to 10 years. He asked me how quickly I could get the money. I said I did not have the money. He started yelling at me so I started crying. He said, "Don't cry, see see see, but when can you get the money?" I said, " I don't have any money, boo hoo, my husband died a month ago". He said "How can you have no money?" How sweet of him! I said," I just lost my husband, his income, had to pay for a funeral, the rent, food and I am just waiting for his life insurance through work". He said, " How long will that take?" I said," Well, I had to get the death certificate from the coroner after the autopsy and his job said it would take four to six weeks to deposit it into my account". He was sooooo kind about me losing my husband that he said, "Can you borrow 500 bucks from somebody?" I said, Well, I could maybe perhaps possibly get it from my sister in Arizona from her Social Security check". This guy was a real winner. He said he would cancel the arrest warrant and that I was to call him back in three days with the money or he would issue it again. What a sweetie. I said, "Oh, Officer Wilson, you have just been so kind and caring in my time of grief and I will be sure to call you back as soon as I get it from my sister or the 2 million dollars from the life insurance." CRICKETS!!! I hung up. Yes, I sure will be calling him back just as soon as I get that 2 million. I don't even have a husband! Well, that was fun but it ate up my entire lunch break. These yahoos keep spoofing the number and calling over and over and over. They are calling to remind you that it's time for your annual tuneup on your HVAC system. I've received over 5 dozen of these calls since March alone. Almost always, it's the same group, HVAC Central.

CID = NAME NOT FOUND. As there is no such exchange prefix 163, it clearly identifies the caller as a scammer. I hung up on it without answering. I suggest you do too. AT&T is worthless because they allow these scam spoofed numbers to pass through their network.
