Called my number 7 times in one day. Never left a message. When I called back out of curiosity a prerecorded voice asked me to hold as their customers are important to them. I hung up. Blocked the number on my phone. Don't know who they are and pretty certain I don't want to know.

Just got this call a few minutes ago. I blocked it as my call blocker wouldn't let it come through. So it's now on my reject list. I never call the number back even if it shows to be a local number. A friend who is a retired policeman told me that a lot of these numbers can be connected to an overseas number that will cost you thousands of dollars on your phone bill and the number will show as a local number in your area. So never, never, never call phone numbers back that aren't from someone you know because more than likely they are scammers/crooks to steal from you in some way shape or form. Be smart and don't call the scammers back and don't answer phone calls you don't recognize. Sometimes it's a robo call that will hang up when you answer to let them know what time and day you are home and will call you back.
Forget about the no call list from the government as they can't do anything unless it's a legitimate solicitor calling you. If they are real, you can tell them you are on the government's no call list and that you are reporting them. I've had this happen a few times and when a real solicitor called me, I told them I was on the governments no call list and they apologized and said they would remove me from their calling list. They can get in tons of trouble and end up being fined if they keep calling you.
The bad thing is that the crooks don't care how many government list you are on as they are crooks and don't obey the laws. All they want is to steal your identity and credit card numbers to charge them up or take cash advances from the card. So never give them the edge and never call them back ever!
Sometime this number on my id shows up as UNKNOWN NAME, CARROLLTON TX, or 14692083794....I put this number as a 100% scammer. A real company won't keep changing what shows up on your caller id on your phone and nor will they give some name that isn't the company name.
