you are the lucky ones. I have 91 numbers in my log and counting over the years i have been with them. 1 day late and the calls start one every 20 min from a different number.
I got a call from them on my new cell phone for someone named Michael. It's a pay per minute phone so I got charged when they left a message and again when I retrieved the message. I have called then and told them it was a wrong number. Another collection agent called the next day and I answered it and told them it was a wrong number. They STILL called again the next day and left another message. Then someone from "CVA" at (888) 656-9294 called for Michael. I bet it's really Capital One Auto collections...yet I called them and told it was a wrong number.
Re: 'um DUH' response . "I've never received a phone call a collections a day in my life - because I fortunately pay all my bills on time. If I didn't pay, whether unfortunate circumstances or not, I would expect a call!!"
MY DEAR FELLOW,
TRULY, I SUBMIT THAT YOU MOST ASSUREDLY HAVE RECEIVED A COLLECTION CALL FROM CAPITAL ONE. OTHERWISE, YOU WOULDN'T BE INVESTIGATING THIS PHONE NUMBER OR THIS WEBSITE!
THEREFORE SIR, REFRAIN YOURSELF FROM OBNOXIOUS BELITTLING OF OTHERS, OF WHOM YOU HAVE NO PERSONAL INSIGHT INTO THEIR FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, AND YOUR POMPOUS ATTITUDE OF SUPERIORITY FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE THAN OTHERS!
We'll maybe if I was the one that got the 3.5 billion dollar bail out I could make my loans on time. I wonder if we have government bill collectors harrassing the banks?
