Called our business and asked for someone. When told they were not there, the telemarketer asked for the wife. Seriously, who calls a business and asks for the other spouse. I did not get the company info because she hung up when I reiterated that it was a business.
Called and asked for owner. When I asked if this was a sales call, caller replied "NO, this is Renee Stewarts office. When I asked what the call was regarding, he ask me again if I was the owner of the business. I then told him to email any information that he might have and before I could give our email address, the caller HUNG UP. Who ever you are caller and all caller like you, you are a piece of S#*t for thinking that you can keep doing this and get away with it.
Oh, but clearly they keep calling because enough idiots continue to support them with money, directly or indirectly, so that's enough incentive to keep up the annoying calls. They also know there are no teeth in the jokes of the do-not-call lists, or the absurd penalties for abusing the laws related to them.
Calls to businesses are not covered by the Do Not Call list anyway, only sales calls to residences or personal cellphones. Other laws may apply depending on the particlulars of the call but not the DNC law when businesses are called.
