A foreign man from this number called threatening me with lawsuits from a pay day loan that I did not take out. Obviously a scam. They want information from me, that I will not give, they also called my job. They claimed to be with andrew and coz legal firm. I am positive it is a scam.
I had applied for a payday loan and was denied online. Then I received about 20-25 calls per day from different payday loan companys. The number 469-270-6066 called my cell and then call my work. At first, it was to received money that was available. Then it went to them needing a call from my attorney for fraud and that I would lose my job. The end of the message said "good luck".
People call from this number several times per day. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman. ALWAYS with an extremely heavy accent that sounds to be Indian. They always say their names are something very "vanilla" (John Smith, Mary Jones, etc.) They call both my cell phone and my work. They tell me that my name/social security number has had a lawsuit filed against it. They ask for quite a bit of information. I never give them ANY information. My concern is in them calling my work.
I have told them to stop calling. They become threatening. I have become very aggressive with them myself. Nothing works. I am sick of this. I have no idea who these people are or how they got my contact information. The number is from Texas.
I had a person named mike Anderson call me and left a voicemail that saying I owned money pretty much like what everyone else commented there Indian accent was really strong so I could understand everything but at the end it said good luck and they called my work. I think it's a fruad should I report it to my local police and how can I get them to stop calling me.
I just got a phone call from this number they said that if my attorney didn't get ahold of them right away that officers would be coming within 24 hours to arrest me at my place of employment and I would spend at least 30 days locked up. The man had a heavy Indian accent and wouldn't tell me what this was about, he said he needed to speak to my attorney. Don't give them any of your personal information, I believe this is some kind of scam.
