Received a call, the caller id said, "FED REFUND DEPT". Just before this call, I received a call from an "unknown caller", didn't answer either of them. They didn't leave a message.
Caller ID was "14692707095".
Our D*g*tone call blocker intercepted and blocked this call -- as it does any other call having a phone number NOT in the list of phone numbers that we have programmed our call blocker to accept.
Earlier this year, we received a call from 469-270-7011 ... same telemarketer trying a new, slightly different number to avoid being blocked?
This caller left no message and the caller id said "Customer Service". A reverse trace was blocked for a persons name or business. From what I've read this caller is either selling Home Alarms Systems or they represent Google and are asking for an update. The area code is from the Dallas, Texas area and the main office for Google is in California so that is a scam and why would any one want an alarm from an out of state company that blocks their identity and location from the public and Google. No legitimate business blocks their name and address ever. This caller is phishing for personal information and running a scam. Block this number and report to the proper authorities.
