Called my mom and dad in Kentucky telling them I am going to jail cause I committed felony fraud and they can't find me and they sent papers for me to sign
Called my friend who is on disability (and who cannot really take this sort of thing) called her at 7 AM morning. First a woman, sounding like "there's very little time" "We'd like to get this matter resolved so you have time before this matter. When my friend wanted to get information like, who are you, what are you talking about, the woman "rustling papers" forwarded her to a "supervisor." They said she didn't respond to "papers" they sent to her. My friend advised but I don't live there and the company said "yeah, you live in <state she lives in>" (which shows they knew or should have known they were calling at 7AM). The man rattled off that she had taken a payday loan with EZ Money Payday Loans, that she had secured that contract with a post-dated check (drawn on a bank she'd never had an account with) and during a time frame that, because of a Chapter 7 Bkruptcy, my friend had not taken any payday loans. They told her she owed in excess of $700 and that failure to pay by that afternoon would result in someone being sent to her home to take her to jail. She told them she didn't have that sort of money and it quickly went to 400 some odd dollars or someone would be there in the afternoon to take her to jail, that they would be turning in the papers in the afternoon to Canyon County (the county in Idaho where she used to live). This supervisor called back later in the afternoon and started the conversation (because my friend had been quiet when she picked up the phone) calling her name, asking if it was she on the phone, that it had better be her and she should speak up or he would hang up... when she said Who is this, he said this is <whatever name he gave her> and I'm calling you back to find out what are you going to do to help the "victim." My friend said "Who is the victim here?" He reiterated his threats to have her jailed and hung up on her.
This scam refers themselves as central legal processing. HANG UP THEY ARE A SCAM OPERATION!!!!!!
These Numbers are all attached to this company is a network of thieves. Do not call back or pay them any money!!!!!
They get mad if you ask about their business and hang up!
They will not provide business number or address!!!!!

They are not listed with BBB!!!!!
They threaten you with jail that is a lie!!!!! They are very rude!!!!!! they demand you pay or go to jail that night, this is all a scare tactic do not listen. They may also threaten that your relative will go to jail.
