Caller wanted to perform a rim job. I explained my car is new and tires are fine, but he persisted. Said he wasn't interested in my tires, only my rim. He sounded desperate. I suggested he just open a shop where he could give all the rim jobs he wanted, but then he said "that would not be legal." WTF? So cold-calling outside his own area code searching for someone to give a rim job to? How is this a sustainable business practice? The whole thing seems odd. This guy is really hung up on giving people rim jobs.
Busy boys. Blocked. It amazes me that so many calls nowadays list a CITY as a caller ID... must be the latest scam technique. In addition... on my cell... I've been getting multiple calls all from the same area code & prefix number that my cell uses. They must have hacked the entire exchange.
Home phone caller id says Ennis TX. I let my call blocker/robo blocker block it. I get about 20 of these type of calls weekly and some on weekends. You would think they would take weekends off!
