Took her time when i asked who is it..told me her name again when i said who are you..then got indignant with me so i hung up. Not very good telemarketer or whatever..need to state name& business withing ten sec or i am gone..my time too valuable. Caller id said"aincomingcall" but i didnt see it til later or would not have bothered to answer.
called claiming to be from "Breast Cancer Survivors" something or other. told her i was on the do not call list. she said they are exempt, since they are a charity. i told her that people don't go to all the trouble to get on the do not call list and then say, "oh, except for politicians, and charities, and those scum bags claiming to be doing a political survey or claiming to be a charity. i want to hear from those folks!" anyway, she said she would put record that i did not want to be called by them again. but she sounded rather indignant about it.
Called just a few minutes ago...didn't answer ...don't answer numbers I don't know. If they WERE a "real" charity they would not have their name be "Aincoming Call".
Woman called from 'Breast Cancer Survivors Foundation'. Wanted a commitment of $15, $25 or $35 then would take my name and address to send me tax deductible letter for the contribution and an envelope for my donation. She would not send information on the non-profit without a dollar commitment - "that's how the process works" she said. Told her I would not commit to a $ amount until I had time to research the organization. She ended the call because I would not follow 'the process'. Charity Navigator website has no information about BCSF. If it's not listed on Charity Navigator, the non-profit organization is questionable.
Same thing -- I didn't recognize number and don't answer those that I don't. No message was left. I don't call these numbers back either. Such a nuance
