Scam caller...even though the caller ID showed the 4693191121 number, it was preceded by a V xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx number...which I suspect is from a foreign origin. I NEVER answer those types...no one should, in my opinion, and under no circumstances, call a number that they leave....that is just begging for trouble.
Some scam, different day. i was hoping this unidentifiable hang up was a call from the women I spent hours with last night after meeting her in a CVS as she asked for directions to a street which does not exist. this young female says she'd been desperately trying to locate her sister in this part of Boston w/no street address having driven here via NYC from Louisville, KY. Supposedly she drove here to meet her sister who was in a domestic abuse situation and was going to get her out - but without an actual confirmed address. Me thinks me been played- however, but she didn't get any $ because I have none and tho it pained me, I did not offer her my place to crash for the night (@ 1 A.M. when we finally parted) until she got sorted out.The sister was expecting her but had her cell phone turned off so by 11:30 p.m. I'd taken her to the local police station to see if we could track down the sister's whereabouts and procure at least a neighborhood location for her but I could tell they felt that they were also being played. She was so convincing and we all felt so badly for her that even the PoPo ended up going the extra mile for her as well by trying to find an address. The plan, had the found an address, was to send down a cruiser to check on the sister & then have sister report back to us. But they could not find any info. on the girl after 2007 (i.e. she's not been in trouble since 2007). Sigh. I guess Texas call was not from the woman I'd been helping. Sorry for rambling on about nothing.
