Caller ID said Nationwide Insu. Our daughter has that insurance carrier and recently had a car accident. Thinking it was them, I answered the phone. It was some outfit wanting to extend the vehicle warranty on our car but didn't specify which one (we have 3). I kept saying no and he kept talking. Might have been a recording? Anyway, I hung up on him. They called right back. Blocked the call.
Calls wanting me to extend my truck warranty and he did know what truck I had.
I am not sure how he found out. Makes me not feel safe. You could hear other callers in the background.
I am on the do not call list, but in 10 years of being on there, it has been a total waste of time.
A very rude guy with an Jersey accent asked my wife about an extended car warranty for $3,600 or something. She passes her phone to me and the guy hung up when I spoke.
