I received 3 calls on my cell phone, which is also my business line, during my hours of business today, May 29th, 2013. I answered with my business name, as I always do on the number they called, and I was met with silence, I once again repeated my standard business greeting, and again was met with silence. So they are #1, calling a cell line, and of course I am paying everytime they have called, 2) calling my business, so they are taking my time, as well as tying the line up. 3) they have called three different times (so far) during the day, doing the exact same thing, (nothing) everytime, then they don't even have the courtesy to say, "sorry, wrong number" and in fact have yet to make a peep during these calls.
I could kind of understand someone mistakenly calling my business line, and trying to sell me something, or wanting me to take a survey, or any number of other scenarios. However they just keep calling, and saying nothing! How does this accomplish anything for them? They are just using up their time, with no return on the time being used. I just can't fathom what this accomplishes for them. Any ideas?
I've already been noting the calls, and have the number on my received calls. From now on, I will be recording any new calls, and stating during the call to stop calling and I don't ever want them to call me; and especially my business; again. Then hand it over to my attorney, and the FCC. Maybe they can get to the bottom of this.
So that's my story. Has anyone else had any similar problems with this number?
This phone number (469)324-5268 keeps calling my mobile phone, but would not leave any message. I called the number back and a voice prompt would say: "... it is full and this number does not accept any more messages."
