Received a live call - female with a possible Caribbean accent. The caller asked for a specific person by name. I said - not here, can I take a message? No, I will call back. I said - don't bother. I called the back to the number first using *67 to block my callerid - The number is no good -spoofed. I will block it.
The caller didn't leave a message. I'm blocking this caller. Caller id shows V11616122500159. I've been told that this is more than likely a call coming from overseas with a code like this. Lots of scammers will use codes if they are calling from overseas & have it connected to a local number. Beware as they can use various numbers calling to all over the US & be calling from the same location overseas from the location from their own home from wherever that may be.
