I have had several conversations with these guys. They are saying I'm about to get sued for an outstanding debt that I haven't paid. They won't say what company it is that I owe money. The company they claim to be is called Cornerstone Mediation out of Dallas tx. They sound like scam to me.
This guy called looking for my granddaughter, said it was concerning a legal matter but would not tell me what it was. I took the number and called my granddaughter and she said her email had been hacked. I am sure it is a scam.
Friends of my parents got scammed this way. Someone called claiming to be their grandson, saying he had been in an accident and needed $2,000 to pay off the woman he hit so she would not get the police involved. They wired the money, and then found out that their real grandson was at home the whole time.
Never trust a single source, always call someone else (parents, friends) to verify, before sending any money to anyone.
