Got the call no one answered after saying hello 3 times. Not 30 seconds later got a call from 1(877)803-0008 (this site says it is a collection agency called Portfolio Recovery Associates. I am going to assume it is the same since when I got the call fro the 877 number there was also no answer until after I had said hello 3 times and said you need to stop calling this number in a gruff voice. I then had a lady ask me "Is that how you normally answer your phone?" I told her sure is after I have already said "hello" 3 time in a row and no one say a a thing and she then asked me if I was someone who I was unfamiliar with. I said "no" she then asks if that person is there, I told her that "there is no one by that name here" and call ended. I am so tired of getting calls like this from these collection agencies calling me. Next time I will have my recorder handy and tell them I am recording and that they need to cease calling me or I will report them for harassment to the AG.
Got a call from this number yesterday, nobody left a message. They called again today and I picked up. The lady said she was with a company called "service contractors" and that they were offering deals on home inspections, or something like that. I suspect they got my number from American Home Shield (home warranty company working with local contractors for home repairs). The lady was nice and promised to take my number off their list.
I recieved 2 calls from this number where they didnt say anything, I returned the call and it was a HVAC company calling for tuneups on our homes ac unit. They explained to me that there system would drop calls and that they are working on fixing the problem. I made an appointment and I was very satisfied with the service I recieved. I am actually glad they called me until they reached me or a spring tune up would of slipped my mind and at 49.95 per unit with no tax and the free freon I couldnt turn it down!!!
