I keep getting calls from 469-417-7880. The VM says something about client-attorney privilege and press # to accept collect call.
How do I get these calls to STOP?
I believe this is a call service company used by correctional facilities. If you received a "collect" call on a cell phone from this # (that hung up on you), someone you know is probably in JAIL. I am in Portland, Oregon--the person calling me was at the Pacific County Sheriff's office in South Bend, Washington, but the call id # showed Texas. Problem is, CELL phones can't accept COLLECT calls from this #. If you don't have a landline, you (or someone) has to put $$ in an account for the jailbird, then they can make pre-paid calls to a cell number.
I get a call from a friend in jail in south Dakota that comes from this number. So it's not just people in Texas it's what ever correctional facility uses this company, I would assume.
