For everyone out there who receive this call, i can assure you it is scam, just by looking at the way they make you send the money. The money gram order can allow them to get the money just minutes after you deposited, and the only thing they need is a false Id and the reference number that appear in the receipt which you would provide. The guy at the phone has a clearly chinese accent, but the first person who contact you is woman, an US born. They will call you for your name and then they say things about your taxes that indeed are true, So they can seem reliables. The lady would tell you you have been awarded a grant from the goverment. They ask you to provide your driver license ID, date of birth, your social, adress, and make you provide your bank account information to send the grant because "they are having issues with their cheks system" so they can only offer direct deposit. Then will give you this number, to talk with a "supervisor" or whoever is going to be in charge of your case. To make the story short, you would takk with a chinese guy who by the way is very skilfull and have vast experience doing this, ask you to comfirm some information and then resquest a fee to process the transaction. usually more than 200 but can reach to many hundreds more. *you can easily negotiate this fee, if you say it is too much they would lower it but still tell you that is a "fix amount"  and you have to pay the rest once you get the grant...  Anotheir important point is that any goverment institution in particularly the IRS would contact you by phone they always try mailing you first about any concern,Plus you never be awarede for a grant you didnt apply for.and if you did you don't have to pay no such thing as process fee. If you want to ask me something you can contact by email [email protected]

By using money gram orders they can be sure, their real information wont be revealed. They just have to answer a "security question" to get the money.

I just received a call from 2355689 (exactly like that). But 12 minutes before that I got a call from 23423456789 (exactly like that). The numbers are all wrong and they cannot be contacted. I had the same conversation with a guy named Ben that sounded like he was from India and sounded very robotic. He said he wanted to give me a government number for a grant. My grant # was VA23183, and the grant was for $14,566.00 that I would not have to pay back. He asked me what my name was, phone number, address, and last 4 digits of my social. I told him that since HE called ME, I wanted him to confirm it because there are a lot of scammers out there and I had not applied for a grant recently. I told him exactly this. SO, he did repeat all of my info, except for the 4 digits of my social, because he said that he wanted to make sure that I was the correct person so it wouldn't go to the wrong person. I asked him to confirm his name and where they he was located and he said Texas, which did show up on my phone. I did confirm my digits, though, because I did want to see what was up with this. I mean, somehow he had my other information so I figured he already had social then he would be able to tell me the rest of what he had to tell me. By this time, though, I had already kind of figured it was a scam. I know it as a fact that this happens all the time, but when I looked up the number as I was talking to him I found this site. Scary. So, anyway, I kept him on the phone long enough to get the "manager's" number. I asked what there name would be and he said they had 5 so he wasn't sure who I'd talk to. So, I did call them  (469) 444-0091-which was the manager's number, and this guy said his name was Mark Williams. He sounded like he was straight from Sudi Arabia and was very robotic. He tried to sell me on the, "you can trust me," and "this is a legit government grant that everybody needs," story, but I went OFF on him; I mean I really laid him out with some lip action-and not the good kind. LOL
I am reporting this number to the IRS if I can and I am telling everyone about this SCAM. Please don't trust this and please don't give out your information.
Hope this helps anyone possibly willing to give this a chance.
