This company just called me this morning regarding a situation involving my brother-in-law. The individual stated that she was a negotiator for the client and that my brother-in-law needed to return their call within 24-48 hours so that the issue could be settled out of court. The name on the Caller ID was COMMERCIAL RECO and the number on the Caller ID was 1-469-453-8166. The lady stated that her name was Julie Anderson and the name of the company she was with is CRS. After doing some online research, I have concluded that the company is Commercial Recovery Systems, Inc., a debt-collection agency out of Dallas, TX. Julie stated that I was called because my brother-in-law listed us as "References." This phone call, in my opinion, clearly breaks the laws of the FDCPA, so beware out there.
