Received a call and sent to voicemail, received a text immediately after: "Hello, this is Taylor with Clay Cooley Nissan. Hey its tax season and we are here to help! We are offering for the next four days the "Down Payment Assistance Program". This is only for a limited time. If you could give me a call at (972-709-2000 ext.2094. Thank you. Ask for Taylor." I did buy a car from Clay Cooley over a year ago but this is the first call/text advertisement I've received. Annoying.
If you've ever bought a car from a Clay Cooley dealership, or if you've ever been placed on their database for whatever reason, you'll get calls like these. They want us to trade in our vehicle because a) there's a demand for the vehicle we have, and b) they want you to buy a new car from them. I got a call from them a week ago and made it clear that we're happy with our vehicle, and that we are not interested in trading it in. I guess they're desperate.
