A woman who identified herself as Donna Miles called my work and left a message that she was from L and B mediation and for me to call her back as this is a time sensitive matter. When I called, I was told "Oh, you have not been briefed on the case, hold a moment while I get your case-file" when she came back, she said there was a complaint being filed against me for "malicious intent to defraud a bank" that I was monitored online soliciting funds from NetLoan USA in 2011. They had my correct information, where I bank, my social security number, and address I lived at years ago as well as an email I had not used since High school, 10 years old email. I have not ever taken a loan out from an online site. She said that I was not able to contact the "client" directly because supposedly my contract had been in a few collection agencies and " they were tired to dealing with me" (her exact words) when I asked how she gets a hold of the "client" so quickly, she said they were on the other line with her. They told me that I the complaint was already filed and that an "evidence packet" was sealed and she could not access it but that it was about ready to be sent out to County. She said the "client" was willing to settle out of court, and that I could make a good faith payment today that would show i was willing to pay the rest, but could not promise that my "file" would not be picked up and taken, submitted for further charges or something. They wanted over $1700 from me. Not one word of this supposed loan was ever presented to me in the four years since, nor is there any record of a loan, because i never took one out. This is absolutely a scam, and it does make me concerned that they have my information, but I will not worry too much more because I know this is not real. I called the number back twice, got a hold of this Donna once but when I called again, I got the voice mail of "Jessica" so its quite shady. Give them NOTHING!!! Same woman called her area code was out of Oklahoma. Told me the same thing. I have not taken out any loans. She put me on hold to get the file. I hung up. Called back later with a different area code, Dallas area. I am calling the Missouri Attorney General office and report these calls.
I got a phone call from this Donna Miles today saying she has a complaint against me for bank fraud for a 2011 loan from a Net loan service. She told me Net loan has written this loan off and forwarded to her office for bank fraud prosecution. This is such a scam!!! The original call was from (918) 913-4934...a complete scam!!!!
