I have the same thing....the whole spill about me not paying and to return the call immediately. I asked for them to send me an email with the information in which I was being sued over. They did not. Then they told me to go to gas station and get a card to load money onto it. They have called my work. I explained to the man with thick accent that I am willing to pay what I owe after I receive a letter or email explaining the lawsuit. He stated that after I pay the attorneys will then send me a letter as a receipt. I also told him that normally when a lawsuit is being granted against someone they are served with papers from a sheriff......scam.....had me in tears
i just recieved a call from this number. They left a message saying," The very second you receive this message, I need you or your attorney to return the call. It is extremely time sensitve. My name is Adam Peterson, and the hotline to my division is 469-518-9152, Don't disregard this message. If you don't return the call, or I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck in this situation." I have called them to ask what this was and he read off all my information and told me I was going to get arrested. When I asked him to fax me a copy of the paperwork in front of him, he got mad and hung up on me. SCAM,SCAM, SCAM
I just got a call from this number and was told that I was being arrested in two days for a week because someone illegally used my name as a reference for a loan. What the hell? They sounded Indian because of the thick accent and when I got upset he'd just say "oh my god". I want to smack him! If I just paid a balance of $796 he'd call off the subpoena. Crap.
Yep I had the same thing. A guy couldn't hardly speak english calling from a law firm. That monday I will be arrested because of a lawsuit with a pay day loan that I didn't pay. I said this is a scam I hope the cops come and get me and they will be after you next. I said a lawyer isn't gonna hire people that don't speak english you scammer take me off your list and I hung up.
