These people called my cell phone 17 times in a row. I have call blocker and my phone rings once then hangs up. Then they called my work number. I did not answer because I saw it was the same number they just called my cell phone on. They left a message telling me that it was urgent that I call them back @469-567-9756. Like I am gonna call back. Person had very foreign accent and couldn't even pronounce my name correctly. Losers.

report them
Ask what the name of the company is and if they have a web site.  They may point you to Nationwide as in the large insurance company.  if they do that call the real Nationwide and report that these poeple are using the Nationwide name to run a scam.

They called me and then they called my job, i told them i dont even have a payday loan and never got one, he said oh you dont and hung up in my face. I called back and told him a piece of my mind and he kept hanging up so all you have to do is harass them like they do you...

*67 them and keep calling and giving them as much crap as you can. Do not give them any more personal info. You must of applied for a pay day loan at some point and thats how they got your info. 1st thing you need to do is change the bank account you listed on line for a payday loan next change your phone number or when they call answer and tell them there is no one by that name. Make sure your voicemail doesnt have your name on it. They will give up sooner or later. If they had the ability to remove money from your account they wouldnt call you and tell you. Also watch all your statements, these kind of people will take small amounts from credit cards and bank accounts thinking you wont notice. $10 is nothing, but multiply that by 10 thousand people. Never give out personal info on the internet for anything. Also remember personal info is easy to get on anyone, your bank account number is on the bottom of your checks, when you use a check most places want a DL number, your address and phone number, and your S.S. number is very easy to get from hunting licences to insurance documents.

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or extort personal info.
