He called and acted interested in renting one of our one-bedroom apartments. He asked the price and wanted to know if they came furnished. He also wanted to know who our furniture rental contact is.
I got the exact same call today. Very short on the phone, but yes, all he wanted to know was the price of a one bedroom apt, if it came furnished, and who he could use to furnish it (as our apts don't come furnished)...
They called our apartment community as well, it was a young woman. Once I answered all of her questions she asked where she could rent furniture in our area. I responded "Cort Furniture Rental". She then said, "Congratulations, you've just said the phrase that pays!" It turns out she was secret shopping for Cort Furniture. They gave me $75 for recommending Cort.
