I get calls all day long. It shows up on my caller ID as NStar Champion!! Don't respond to them as they ask you the last four digits of your social security number and checking account number. I believe it's a scam too!! I was told our mortage company switched over to NStar but I never got any notice of it. My husband answered and believed that our mortage got changed over and gave his social security number ( last 4 digits) to them and told me he took care of the problem and we wouldn't be hearing from them again!! He was 1 week late sending in our mortgage payment due to us being on vacation so he believed they were legitimate!! Well I just got another call this morning asking the same questions and I told them if they call again my phone will be forwarding their call right to the police station!!! They are asking way too many questions and people out there need to be aware of these idiots!!! Scam the Scammers right back!!
What kind of a mortgage company calls and asks the last four digits of your social security number, address etc. I told the guy I wanted his social security number, his address and checking account number!! He hung up!! These people are scammers and everyone needs to be aware!! Read my other post below under Nancy!!
This guy called asking all kinds of questions from NStar, social security, checking account # etc. I wouldn't give him any info as I didn't receive any notice saying my mortgage changed over to them. I asked his number and extension and he gave it to me. When I call back you don't even get an option to punch in the extension number. You only get an automated voice saying to veryify your your mortgage account with us please punch in the last four digits of your social security number!! I couldn't even punch in the extension number as this company has no option on thier voice mail to do that!! They are big time scammers..so beware!! I get calls all day long from this company!!
