My husband received a threatening arrest warrant in my email today. Took it to my local police, they told me it is a scam and to ignore it..said they would stop eventually.
I not only received a phone call from this number claiming to be from the Attorney General's office, I also received two e-mails from someone claiming to have an arrest warrant in my name and it told me to contact the 469-561-0062 number before I would be arrested. I don't know what this is all about, but this is not the first time that I have received both phone calls and e-mails in the last two years. The odd thing about this scam is that these calls and e-mails also came from a law firm which they claim was the Steele Law Firm and the Allen Law Firm and the only number that was left for both places was the 469---- number and they claim that they have a real case number for tracking purposes and they want my personal information. Do Not give these people any information and continue to turn them into the police.
