Just want to know if this is a scam number. They called about a government grant I am to receive of $14,000

Same here, got a call about a government grant. Could barely understand the guy, thick Indian accent, saying he works for the National Housing Institute and I've been selected to receive a government grant for a little over $14,000. Talked about our great country and then transferred me to his manager, who also had a crazy thick Indian accent... soo... Whose country exactly? Didn't get any pertinent information from me so, scam, and if so, how?

I also got a cal from this number. I gave more info than i should of only cayse i field for a grant
