A caller left a message at my work, asking that I call this number. The caller did not identify themselves, but left a message stating that I have two felony charges pending against me in bank fraud for writing bad checks. And that I needed to contact them immediately. I called them and they transferred me three times, then they sent me to voicemail. I called back they said that I had failed to comply and that they were filing charges against me. They wouldn't give me any info about what they were talking about. I asked them if they could give me my ssn or my date of birth and and they gave me a bogus address for myself and they were very rude and hung up on me.
They called me for my husband and said that he had 2 fraud charges pending against him and gave me no more information.
They called couple weeks later for me and gave me bogus information about a payday loan that I never recieved and said they would file papers to take me to court in the County I live in and I told them I look forward to seeing them there and never heard anything else from them
THEY CALLED MY MOTHER, MY BROTHER, AND MYSELF NOT ONCE BUT FOUR TIMES THREATENING ARRESTS, WOULD NOT TELL ME WHO THE AGENCY WAS WITH THE DEBT COLLECTION NOTICE, REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH ANY OTHER INFORMATION I REQUESTED AND THEN A VICTORIA HUNTER BECAME THE MOST HATEFUL, RUDE B****H I TRIED TO TALK WITH ABOUT A SERIOUS ALLEGATION-
I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE-
I recieved a call from this number today and it seems like some sort of scam. I had one call me last year with the same message but from people with a language barrier. This time around it was in plain English, but still seems like they are phishing for my information or an attempt to steal money from me. Is anyone still getting calls and how did they handle this?
It was claimed that I missed a 10 day notice of two serious allogations. It was my understanding on such charges, I would recieve some sort of certified mail or something confirming my reciept.
