You, and not Darla, are the first in this thread to both refer to debt collection and use the term "scammer". The OP did not sound at all certain for what purpose she was being called.
Your all-purpose rant against "deadbeats who like stealing from banks", or whatever, is way over the top in this context. It's also another dreadfully familiar example of the histrionics which spew from desperate crooks in call centers, those who would otherwise be knocking over liquor stores if not for finding the religion of "making debtors pay dearly" for bogus and legally dead paper.
Actually they (the "pay your bills" shills) all are habitual deadbeats and every time they show up here telling everyone else to pay "their" bills... they always lie! Simply because they won't pay their own and want everyone else to do it for them.
Thus, no one (here or anywhere else) has any reason to ever believe them ;)

This number is from collection scum scammers calling themselves Sherman & Associates. The slugs that call won't give their real names and are known to claim they represent the IRS. They also like to try and collect on outdated and discharged debts. They break the law with almost every word out of their mouths. BEWARE !!!!
